About

At Atomic EV we are passionate about providing people smarter ways to move. Ways that are more convenient, more enjoyable, safer, more economical and better for the environment.

Atomic EV started out of disappointment with current options in New Zealand for “last mile transport”: traffic congestion, parking costs, unreliable and inefficient public buses, insecure facilities for parking bikes, and poor range and safety gear for e-scooters. We were also tired as consumers ourselves of buying discontinued gear dumped locally at inflated prices, or paying crazy international shipping costs in the hope that gear will fit and work well when it finally arrives.

We aim to make last mile transport easier and more fun by supporting very efficient personal electric vehicles (PEV), not only their sale but also servicing, advice, testing and building a great community of users. We offer a comprehensive range of personal protective gear and training to make their use safer, and encourage you to try anything we offer for yourself before purchasing.

Also we understand that prices need to be competitive. At Atomic EV we import ourselves or negotiate directly with manufacturers, distribute and retail products ourselves, to eliminate supply chain markup. Where possible we try to provide the best available products and match prices people in Europe and North America pay.

Not only will we help revolutionise the way you think about getting around each day, but you’ll be making a positive difference to reduce your environmental footprint, saving transportation energy needs by orders of magnitude over larger vehicles, while reducing carbon emissions and harmful polutants.

We are confident that you’ll become as addicted to riding and wearing what we sell and support as we are!
