Audi E-Tron Foil by Aerofoils

The Audi e-tron foil by Aerofoils is the premium eFoil range developed and manufactured by Audi engineers in Germany since 2017 as the world’s most innovative and safest electric hydrofoil. Unlike the other original manufacturers who were quick to release early eFoils, Aerofoils spent five years prototyping and refining their designs before their first commercial release in 2022.

They designed and engineered the first fully shielded jet propeller for eFoils, in pursuit of performance and safety. Rotating parts cannot be touched and the ultra-compact drive unit guarantees minimum water resistance.

Everything about the Audi e-tron foil by Aerofoils showcases excellence: the propulsion that is 25% more powerful than competing brands, the battery that has 10% more capacity yet is 10% lighter, the 80cm carbon fibre mast, and the high-contrast full colour remote. Aerofoils has partnered with prestigious yacht charter companies (including on Azimut, Sherakhan, Titania) to include eFoiling as a water sport option in their Mediterranean and Caribbean charters.

The Audi e-tron foil by Aerofoils currently has five eFoils in their range: the 103 litre Adventure, the 83 litre Performance, the 73 litre Competition with a growing range of eFoil sets, and new in 2024 the Hyperfly 230 litre inflatable water scooter and the Airfly 150 litre inflatable eFoil. Both the Hyperfly and the Airfly feature Aerofoils’ patented Anti Breach System and Atomic EV has them available for order from Germany, whereas we typically have the Adventure and Performance models in stock and immediately available within New Zealand. Due to demand the Hyperfly and Airfly have been sold out until January 2025.

In 2024 Aerofoils were awarded the highest 4.9 stars by DIVEIN.com in their review of the world’s best eFoils, pointing to their superior engineering.
