Flite is the world’s leading manufacturer of eFoils based in Byron Bay (Australia) and founded in 2017 by former kite-surfing world record holder David Trewern. Flite have sold over 13,500 eFoils worldwide.

Flite has built the world’s largest range of eFoils since their first commercial release in 2018. Their range includes the easy riding Flitescooter and the AIR, popular and dynamic Fliteboard, adrenaline inducing PRO, the acrobatic ULTRA, and the world’s lightest performance eFoil ULTRA L2.

Flite continued to innovate with the announcement of Series 3 in 2023, which is lighter, safer, more responsive and more connected. Their innovations include Flitecell Nano (world’s lightest lithium-ion eFoil battery) and interchangeable Flite Jet (a shielded eFoil propeller), creating new benchmarks in electric marine power.

In September 2023 they announced the result of their collaboration with designer Marc Newson, introducing the stunning Flite X range of efoils with carbon masts and colour controller. In 2024 Flite introduced the Flite AIR and AIR PRO inflatable eFoils at budget-friendly prices, and a new conical wing range, now available through Atomic EV. Toward the end of 2024 FLITELab will also introduce the AMP boards with either the AMP jet or slimline AMP mast for powered takeoffs and hybrid eFoiling. Like all the Flite range Atomic EV will make them available across New Zealand as soon as they are released.

There is limited sale stock available in AU+NZ, particularly for the Ultra and Ultra L boards. The PRO carbon boards and 80cm eFoil systems in gold were sold out within the first day of the sale. The Ultra L gold boards and the 75cm eFoil systems in gold are available for purchase now but won’t ship until early January 2025. The Sport battery also won’t ship until early January. Orders placed after 8 December might not be delivered before Christmas.

People learn how to ride a Flite eFoil at an authorised Fliteschool. Atomic EV runs all the Fliteschools in the greater Auckland region, across a wide range of locations with experienced eFoil trainers. We have a range of Flite eFoils to suit most people’s skill levels, from novices to intermediate eFoilers.

Flite Servicing

Flite eFoils must only be serviced at qualified Flite Service Centres. We run our own Flite Service Centre with the maximum level 3 Flite-certified service engineers and maintain local stock of parts to get you back on the water sooner if issues appear. The initial 1 year/100 hour and ongoing 1 year/100 hour (whichever comes first) Flite eFoil service requires the eFoil (mast), Flite Controller and True Glide Prop (if purchased) be serviced.

Atomic EV is a Flite Gold Partner and authorised reseller and has the largest range of Flite eFoils available in New Zealand. We have our own Flite Service Centre and run the highest number of Fliteschools at multiple locations across the greater Auckland region.

Flite Warranty

Atomic EV provides high-quality personal electric vehicles and gear that we test and use ourselves. We want our customers to have the same confidence in our products as we do.

Flite provide a limited two year warranty covering defects in the materials or workmanship of the product but not impact damage to the board or wings. The fliteboard limited warranty requires the fliteboard to follow a service schedule.
