Flite Series 3 and 4 eFoils
The initial 1 year/100 hour and ongoing 1 year/100 hour (whichever comes first) service of a series 3/4 Flite eFoil requires that your eFoil (mast), Flite Controller and True Glide Prop (if purchased) be serviced by an authorised service partner such as Atomic EV.
- The service of the mast consists of an overall inspection and replacement of motor seals, oil, anode and wing pad.
- The service of the controller is to check the overall condition and trigger mechanism.
- The service of the TGP is to check the overall condition, and re-grease the bearings.
Flite Series 1, 2, 2.2 eFoils
The initial 6 month/50 hour and ongoing 12 monthly/100 hour (whichever comes first) service of a series 1, 2, or 2.2 Flite eFoil requires that your eFoil (mast), Flite Controller and True Glide Prop (if purchased) be serviced by an authorised service partner such as Atomic EV.
- The service of the mast consists of an overall inspection and replacement of motor seals, oil, anode and wing pad.
- The service of the controller is to check the overall condition and trigger mechanism.
- The service of the TGP is to check the overall condition, and re-grease the bearings.
- Please be sure to include your user manual (Series 2 onwards) in the shipment, as this now includes the maintenance schedule which is required to be filled in.
For series 1 eFoils please also include the board.
Arranging a Service
Please drop off and pick up the eFoil, controller (and ideally battery too) from either our Orakei shop or Kumeu workshop. The service cost includes labour and typical service parts required during servicing but not shipping costs to and from your location.
You are welcome to include your board and/or battery and we’ll also check their seals remain watertight. We do advise to always include the battery with your service, as we then can check the battery state and cell balancing, its connectors and any signs of water ingress. Including the board is recommended if there have been any signs of water ingress into the battery compartment. There are no additional charges for these checks.
We aim to have a service completed in approximately 7 days but please just contact us beforehand if you’d need to be back on the water quicker. For urgent servicing we recommend dropping to and picking up directly from our Kumeu workshop. We maintain local stock of most service parts in our workshop so can resolve the most common issues quickly.
