ULTRA is for seasoned riders who want to push the boundaries of what’s possible on an eFoil. The ULTRA L is an even lighter performance eFoil, stripped back and refined with a carbon battery box and Flite’s most premium construction.

The ULTRA L2 and its evolution to the ULTRA L3 blur the line between eFoil and surf foil. Impossibly light, slim, stiff and hydrodynamically efficient, it performs like nothing else. The result is an eFoil that effortlessly transfers from edge to edge, allowing for deeper carves and sharper cutbacks.

Carbon Board

Premium carbon PVC Sandwich Construction gives ULTRA the ultimate strength to weight ratio. Enjoy pure carbon on the bottom of the board and carbon innegra on the deck in a stunning black finish. ULTRA’s proven design has been refined with an all new deck grip, silicon handles and leash plug. Optional footstraps make this board jump ready. ULTRA is available in black.

To create the world’s lightest performance eFoil, Flite stripped back and handcrafted the ULTRA L. Handles and footstraps have been removed, and Flite handmade the battery and mast box out of carbon fibre. Flite’s obsession with making a lightweight variant of ULTRA has resulted in a board that is 1 kg lighter. These details, and with premium PVC Sandwich Construction of carbon fibre and innegra, result in the most premium construction of all Flite boards. ULTRA L is available in gold.

The ULTRA L2 sees a narrower and slightly longer carbon fibre board plus a repositioning of the battery box to centralise mass and reduce swing weight. Using Flitecell Nano and a 82cm mast, riders can effortlessly transfer from edge to edge, allowing for deeper carves and sharper cutbacks. ULTRA L2 is available in marine blue.

Choice of Propulsion

The propulsion system provides the thrust that allows you to ride a Flite ULTRA autonomously without the need for wind or waves. Through the use of electric power, you can experience a quiet, emission-free ride on almost any body of water in a range of conditions.

Flite Propeller is the most versatile option, enjoyed by over 7,500 Fliteboarders since 2018. Flite Propeller offers a great mix of efficiency, thrust and safety (when using the Prop Guard that comes standard). All of the Flite wings have been designed to be ridden with Flite Propeller. The Flyer, Race or Flow wings are usually paired with the Flite Propellor on the ULTRA.

The Jet 2 was introduced in Series 5 and is Flite’s most efficient eFoil jet propulsion system for Performance and Marc Newson eFoil systems, delivering the ultimate Fliteboarding experience. Smoother, quieter, more responsive and astonishingly safe it is now the preferred option for most riding.

Flite Folding Prop is the ultimate choice for surfing enthusiasts. The intelligent design automatically streamlines, folding back when you release the Flite Controller throttle to reduce drag and ensure maximum glide efficiency. The folding blades are designed specifically for advanced riders who love to harness the power of the ocean or the wake of a boat. It is easy to switch between the included Flite Propeller and Flite Folding Prop, enabling you to tailor your choice based on water conditions and the ride experience you want.

Advanced Battery Technology

Flitecell is more than just the most durable portable marine battery on the market. It’s a major pillar powering Flite’s success. Flite’s range of Flitecells contain Phase Change Materials, which absorb and release energy. They provide enhanced thermal management, safety and longevity.

Flitecell uses the same premium quality 21700 cells as utilised in high power applications such as hypercars, providing incredible performance. Signature titanium plates make Flitecell highly resistant to any form of corrosion, while increasing impact resistance.

Battery safety has always been Flite’s number one priority, and they have developed a number of proprietary safety measures including sight glass and magnetic on/off.

Availability
Atomic EV has the most popular configurations of the extensive Flite range in our Orakei shop. However, we do not have every possible board colour, mast and wing combination in stock, and do not usually hold stock of the older ULTRA, ULTRA L, and ULTRA L2 models in our shop. If some components of your selected eFoil are listed as available on backorder we will work with the manufacturer to source your order internationally. In such cases our free shipping (for pickup in our shop or free delivery to a regional warehouse) still applies but delivery may take approximately two weeks. Occasionally for items in high demand the manufacturer might themselves have an item on backorder, so there could be further delays.
