Description
Treat someone you love to the experience of a lifetime
Give a gift of an experience of a lifetime with a Fliteschool lesson:
- Available at seven stunning locations across the greater Auckland region.
- For one or two people with a qualified trainer.
- Suitable for novices through to intermediate eFoilers, with a choice between Flitescooter, Fliteboard, or Flite PRO eFoil options.
- No prior experience with water or board sports required.
- All lessons are 90 minutes, including a comprehensive safety briefing by the trainer and usually have at least 60 minutes on the water.
Please just let us know if the gift is intended to be a surprise for the recipient, in which case we’ll only liaise with the purchaser.
When the lesson will take place
One of our trainers will contact the person purchasing the gift and will discuss the recipient’s prior experience, interests, and any date restrictions the recipient may have for the lesson. The trainer will then arrange suitable eFoils and coordinate the location, date and time directly with the purchaser or recipient.
Of course the weather may have other plans, so the trainer will be in touch if the lesson may need to be rescheduled.
If the recipient has tight date or time restrictions for the lesson please let us know in the order notes during checkout, or just get in touch with us to discuss.
What to bring
Please have the recipient bring a towel, a change of warm clothing, and sunscreen. We encourage people to bring a wetsuit if they have one that fits appropriately; if not please let us know beforehand and we will arrange one. For beginner comfort we’d suggest a wetsuit that covers the knees. Without a wetsuit riders may quickly get cold and have to return to shore.
Under NZ Maritime rules the rider will be the “master of vessel” while on the eFoil, so cannot be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
What will be provided
The trainer will provide each rider their own eFoil, helmet and impact vest for the lesson, which must be worn at all times while in the water.
What to expect
Expect a lot of fun, to get wet, to pick up a new skill, and experience the magic sensation of flying above the water. Most people manage to foil in their first lesson, but there’s no urgency so everyone can learn at their own pace with the assistance of the trainer.
