The Funwheel X7 Supercharged

The X7 Supercharged is the first and only 134 Volt, 32S production board in the world. Moreover, Fungineers’ obsession with the XR original feel means you can enjoy breathtaking speed and torque while still feeling like you’re riding a nimble original XR.

The X7 Supercharged comes with the best parts in the industry magically put together:

The High Voltage, coupled with the Superflux and Thor400, makes this board the fastest board in the world…ever. Speeds will never be a bottleneck and running out of duty cycle? What’s that?
This setup can exceed speeds of 65 km/h; but caution must be taken. The range of the Supercharged is between 32-42 km!

Fungineers honed each part individually for years, to give a board with the best parts in the world. The Superflux High Torque Motor, the Thor400 in a die-cast metal box with insane cooling, a certified 134V 32S1P battery made from the high amperage Molicel P45B cells, and the meticulously crafted X7 rails. Total weight is 17.2 kg.

NZ Spring 2025 Funwheel Availability

We have agreed with Fungineers to increase the NZ-bound shipment of X7 Sport and X7 Long Range – so exciting!!! So in addition to the Funwheels in the order for our shop, and our own to ride 😉 we’re now allowing preorders for anyone that wants to be sure they will get one of the first Funwheels in NZ. Delivery in NZ anticipated November 2025.

Priority will be on first-come first-serve. We will try our best to fulfill the rail colour choice you select, if it becomes unavailable we’ll be in touch with you to choose an alternative colour.

We’ve had a lot of requests from speed demons to include the X7 Supercharged, so … yes we are now also accepting preorders of the 134 Volt Supercharged with the latest Thor400 v2 controller.

Fungineers Philosophy

Fungineers philosophy has always been more power than a GT/GTS, in the same form factor and feel as an XR. This is simply what the boards deliver! With top-speeds over 65 km/h, they craft the ultimate boards, and now you can have one assembled and ready to ride!

In addition, you have the right-to-repair, upgrade and complete support from Fungineers and Atomic EV to modify in the future. The board really is YOURS. Being a split battery pack will demand greater care when opening the board.

Superflux High Torque Motor

The Superflux High Torque motor is geared towards higher voltage builds (20S and more) and folks wanting a torquier, more responsive, more punchy motor, greater acceleration from standstill and more efficient in hill climbs and tough situations. It provides VERY high torque compared to other motors in the market but also insane top speeds. This substantially reduces cutout risks more common with lower torque onewheel motors.

Ideal for heavier trail riders or higher voltage battery packs over 20S. It includes genuine SKF bearings and a Thunder 11.5 inch tyre (medium-soft compound for streets and trails). Being an XR-compatible hub there are many other third-party tyre options available, including some big tyre gang (BTG) options.

Thor400 Controller Box

The Thor400 controller box has built-in state-of-the-art VESC with native LED support, beeper, and onboard VESC Express. It has exceptional cooling due to the anodized aluminum and an IMS (aluminum base) controller.
Includes front LED and status LED in the die-cast box (there is also a CNC aluminium box upgrade option).

The Thor has a built-in motor connector for Superflux, M20 gland for battery pack, switchport, GX-16 4-pin charge port, along with a Switchcraft equivalent footpad port that is plug-in compatible with the Stompies footpad and footpad connector, and can also be replaced with any other XR style footpad plug.
Comes with a handle.

X7 Rails

The X7 rails inherent the classic ‘Thunder’ shape from the larger X10 rails, but are the size of a normal Funwheel sized or XR sized rails. They are the recommended rails for the stock Superflux motor and Thunder tyre.

The X7 rails have a symmetrical angle of 4.20° for front and rear making the board feel not too aggressive, yet ready to take on trails, but also smooth on the streets and perfectly capable for tricks and races.

The length is 69 cm and with the two mounting slots so the board can be lifted or dropped by 7mm compared to stock XR rails. That means the tip of the rails is 7mm higher while foot placement will stay the same as on stock XR rails because of the angle. With the lowered slots there is more stability and a locked in feel.

Stompies MkVI Footpad Sensor

The Stompies MkVI front footpad with foot sensor fits in the front of the Funwheel. The latest version is the most perfect Stompie ever.
It’s got it all. Its for small people, big people, tiny feet, large feet, and everything in between.

With improved waterproofness, improved sensing capabilities and a 100% revised sensing area layout, the stompies will truly be your reliable partner on your Funwheel.

The footpads are injection molded, and have a cool hex design to save weight, as well as space to easily add a tag for tracking the board.
The grip tape is a super grippy premium material to keep feet locked in, yet backed by soft 4mm foam to give a kushy ride feeling.

Both the front and rear footpads are concave. Fungineer Bumpers are included but the X7 is compatible with B.A.N.G. Bumpers for the Torque Box.

Battery Pack and Smart BMS

The X7 Supercharged uses a 32S1P, 648 Wh Molicel P45B battery pack, providing around 80% more amps to the motor than the X7 Long Range and ideal for riders that want breathtaking speed and torque.

Fungineers collaborated with Benjamin Vedder, inventor of the VESC, to create a charge-only BMS, suitable for battery packs between 12S and 32S. Fungineers smart Bluetooth battery management system (BMS) is built-in so riders can look at each cell voltage individually, improving rider confidence in the safety of the X7.

Range is dependent on a lot of variables, however, 32-42 km range is easily achievable by riders on the X7 Supercharged. Includes a 134 Volt 7 Amp fast charger.

Getting Started

Fungineers have a Complete Board Start Guide, which includes links to the Floaty (Android and iOS mobile app created by Siwoz in NZ) and Float Control (iOS mobile app created by Surfdado in the US) for seeing data on a phone or smart watch, and setting tunes which change the ride feel.

Warranty

Fungineers products have delivered exceptional performance in the toughest of terrains. Be it world speed records with the Superflux, or Thor controllers being run with the best riders in the European Onewheel League races. They know their products are extremely reliable and robust, and stand by them. Users have a one year warranty for the Superflux, the Thor VESC, and the Battery (except in cases of user error).

Onewheels, and particularly VESC-based onewheels rely on complex components working together in somewhat hostile conditions, often with components sourced from different manufacturers, and there are many configuration options which affect the ride. Even for a new board that is “ready to ride” VESC ownership is often described as an “active ownership” – if something does go wrong and if it is impractical to get the product back to our workshop for repair then you may need to get your hands a bit dirty to help diagnose or replace a component with support from Fungineers and Atomic EV. No need for an engineering qualification, but being able to use a screwdriver is handy if you are located far from our workshop.
