For years, the community has been eager for a complete 5-inch motor solution. The days of cannibalizing Hypercores and mismatched hubs and rotors are over. Introducing the Superflux 5 inch motor — the “5uperflux”.

With a decade of experience perfecting the original 6-inch Superflux, Fungineers received countless requests for a 5-inch version. They took all the magic from the 6 inch Superflux, shaved off weight, refined the aesthetics, and after tens of thousands of dollars and a year of prototyping and testing, proudly deliver exactly what the community asked for:

A 5 inch motor that is small, light, yet mighty! It outperforms competing 5 inch and even 6 inch motors from other brands, delivering smooth rides and extreme power while maintaining a lightweight setup with cushy tires.

CNC/Billet Motor Covers
Getting good thermal performance from a small motor isn’t easy. All 5uperflux motors come with billet motor covers for enhanced thermal performance.

New and Improved Axle Blocks
More thermal goodness. Replaced the original FM style axle block with improved thermal performance and enhanced aesthetics.

Highest Amperage Plug-in Single Connector
Uses the same trusted, industry-leading connector as the Superflux 6.

Motor Versions

The Superflux 5 inch motor weighs 5.4 kg (2.4 kg less than the Superflux 6 inch motor) and is available in two performance versions:

• HS (High Speed) version is ideal for high-speed enthusiasts with battery setups from 15S to 20S, perfect for GT/GTS builds. Freespin speed is 56-65 km/h (72-88 km/h with field weakening) for 18S-20S batteries.
• HT (High Torque) version suits higher voltage builds 20S to 32S, and riders seeking more torque, punchy acceleration, and hill-climbing efficiency. Freespin speed is 49-78 km/h (78-119 km/h with field weakening) for 20S-30S batteries.

Please note the Superflux 5 inch motor includes axle blocks for Funwheel or XR builds. Please contact us to instead order a motor with GTFO Axle Blocks for GT/GTS builds. The Superflux 5-inch motor does not include a tyre.
