X7 Rails

Since launching the X10 (extended) rails in collaboration with Nico Aleman (The Float Life) and Hannes Schatzmann (Vescman), Fungineers had a lot of inquiries about normal sized X10 rails that can be used on a normal sized tyre, instead of a big tyre…and the X7 Rails are the answer!

Features

The X7 rails inherent the classic ‘Thunder’ shape from the X10 rails, but are the size of a normal Funwheel sized or XR sized rails. They are the recommended rails for use with the stock Superflux Motor and Thunder tyre.

Angles

The X10 Rails are 5° lifted on each side making them aggressive and awesome for trails and the like. The X7 rails are 4.20° each side and these make them perfect solution for something between the Thunder rails (which are 3 degrees on each side) and X10 rails (7° front and 3° rear). These rails make the board feel not too aggressive, yet ready to take on trails, but also smoooooth on the streets and perfectly capable of tricks and races. Honestly, the X7 rails paired with the Thor controller and Superflux motor, will make the best board for most riders.

X7 have a symmetrical angle of 4.20° for front and rear. The length is 69 cm and with two mounting slots they can be lifted or dropped by 7mm compared to stock XR rails. That means the tip of the rails is 7mm higher giving better clearance on trails, while foot placement stays the same as on stock XR rails because of the angle. With the lowered slots there is more stability and that locked in feel that many boards just don’t hit.
