The Ultimate Helmet for PEV Riding

The DH6 helmet by Canadian company Predator Helmets has always been a favourite in the PEV community. The third generation of the helmet released in 2023 is the DH6-Xe.

Its shell is made from pre-preg fibreglass cloth that is heat-cured under pressure for optimal strength and light weight. The visor is spherical so viewing is optically correct while the operation of the visor is smooth, precise, tight to shell, and won’t require any tools to change. The large front vent prevents visor fogging and the rear oriented ear slots allow for hearing. The impact liner is EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam that has a PC edge cap for added wear protection. The mesh comfort liner is removable for washing or inspection.

Includes black tint and clear visors with interior anti-scratch and anti-fog coating. Comes with 3 thickness of cheek pads for a snug fit. Cloth carry bag included. The chinstrap features the Fidlock Hook 20 magnetic quick release buckle.

Weight 900 grams. The DH6-Xe is CE-1078 certified (European standard for cycling, skateboarding and roller skating helmets) and meets the CPSC bicycle standard (U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission). Please note that as this helmet is new to New Zealand it has not yet been tested for compliance with the AS/NZS 2063 bicycle helmet standard.
