Evolve Skateboards was born in Australia, by Jeff Anning in 2008, through sheer passion and obsession for finding the link between snowboarding, surfing, and all things carving on land. Evolve Servicing
It is important to keep your electric skateboard well maintained through a regular service schedule. This ensures a smooth and safe ride, and reduces the risk of future issues. Evolve have some helpful YouTube How To Guides, explaining how to perform basic servicing and maintenance, and how to replace simple components.
Atomic EV also provides a comprehensive range of service options for customers that don’t have the time or tools to perform their own regular servicing.

Evolve and Atomic EV
Atomic EV is an authorised retailer and service centre for Evolve Skateboards, having taken over most of the roles of Evolve’s East Tamaki headquarters in 2025. We are the only authorised Evolve reseller in New Zealand that also services electric skateboards.
In addition to the collection of most Evolve skateboard models available in our shop and online we also can source any Evolve configuration available in Australasia (listed as “Available on back-order”) at no additional cost to customers.
We handle repairs and warranty claims locally on the boards and stock most service parts. We also keep some demo boards (including the GTR series 2) and protective gear available in our Orakei shop for customers to try out for free.
Evolve Warranty
Atomic EV provides high-quality personal electric vehicles and gear that we test and use ourselves. We want our customers to have the same confidence in our products as we do.
Evolve offer a comprehensive 12 month warranty on their boards. The warranty excludes some items subject to normal wear and tear, shipping damage, theft, use of product outside of intended use, misuse or negligence, use in unauthorised environments (such as resulting in water damage), unauthorised disassembly or alterations, or failure to comply with any user manual or Evolve guidelines.
Customers who purchased their Evolve skateboard through Atomic EV can just contact us directly with any concerns or warranty claims. Other customers instead either contact Evolve Australia directly at +61 7 55934999, or first via the place of purchase. Some common issues can be resolved over the phone, and more complex issues Evolve then refers to Atomic EV for most NZ customers.
