FLITELab*

FLITELab* was developed to defy the impossible in assisted and unassisted surf foiling, winging and downwinding. FLITELab* Product Architect Chris Reynolds and Flite Team Rider Adam Bennetts partnered up with the Australian Flite eFoil manufacturer in 2023. Together they created the AMP system for all three disciplines, allowing foiling in a much wider range of conditions.

Catch more waves big and small, get up in lighter winds, ride a short board that paddles like a long board. Whatever your foiling discipline, FLITELab AMP range will get you up and out there so you can ride the impossible.

In July 2025 FLITELab* started introducing the AMP boards with either the AMP Jet for powered takeoffs and hybrid eFoiling, and the unpowered AMP RAW. Like all the Flite range Atomic EV is making the AMP range available across New Zealand as the components are released. See the full Flite range of eFoils.

Being the largest eFoil importer and reseller in New Zealand, Atomic EV offers the full Flite and FLITELab* range at the same prices as in Australia. No additional markup for the New Zealand market, hidden fees, nor shipping charges. This saves our customers around $900 per purchase.

Learn to ride at our Fliteschools

People learn how to ride a Flite eFoil at an authorised Fliteschool. Atomic EV runs all the Fliteschools in the greater Auckland region, across a wide range of locations with experienced eFoil trainers. We have a range of Flite eFoils to suit most people’s skill levels, from novices to intermediate eFoilers.

It takes time to lean how to master an unpowered foil such as the AMP RAW or assisted foil such as the AMP Jet, which require experience with pumping and timing to catch waves. Starting with eFoil lessons helps to shorten the learning process, allowing the initial focus to be on balance and controlling the foil. This makes a more enjoyable experience from the outset.

FLITELab* Servicing

All Flite and FLITELab* products must only be serviced at qualified Flite Service Centres. We run our own Flite and FLITELab* Service Centre with the maximum level 3 Flite-certified service engineers and maintain local stock of parts to get you back on the water sooner if issues appear.

The service of the FLITELab* AMP Jet is recommended if you are a frequent or extreme user of the product or to provide piece of mind and ensure that you extend the performance and lifetime of your product. During the service crucial seals and bearings are changed, the oil is replaced, we conduct a thorough inspection and any preventative maintenance. To service your AMP Jet we require the full AMP cartridge, including AMP Cells and Launch Pad.

It is important to consider when purchasing a FLITELab* AMP what will happen when something goes wrong, which unfortunately can happen when water and electromechanical components meet. While some places might be eager to get a sale, it is important your purchase is backed up by technical expertise and parts to get you back on the water quickly. Its frustrating when a rider has to wait months hoping for issues to be resolved overseas after spending money for a premium product.

Atomic EV is the only FLITELab* reseller in New Zealand that has an authorised service centre, and we prioritise getting our customers back on the water as quickly as possible.

FLITELab* Components

The FLITELab* components have limited supply across Australia and New Zealand. Please just contact us to learn more or to discuss options. Currently the AMP Jet Board Set is available (with limited stock) whereas the Mast and Foil Set will be available around October. We are taking preorders to help our customers minimise the wait time.

Like with our Flite range we offer free shipping for FLITELab* NZ-wide, and can facilitate shipping across the South Pacific. Any components we don’t have in stock in NZ at time of purchase we source and deliver to NZ in approximately one-two weeks at no additional cost.

Boards

The AMP Small and AMP Medium boards can use the optional AMP Jet, the AMP RAW is unpowered. All three boards have a standard 90mm spacing track system for mounting a mast, which accept bolts up to 25mm in length (30mm bolts may go too deep depending on the mast).

Most of the boards are available now, except the AMP Medium 45L and Medium 65L will be shipping mid-September.

AMP Jet Components

The components required for the AMP Small and AMP Medium boards to have Jet assist. Just swap out the AMP blank cartridge for the Jet cartridge and one or more cells.

The AMP Jet components are currently available, except for the optional case and cell spacer, which will be shipping mid-September. Until the cell spacer is available the AMP Jet requires two batteries to be used.

An AMP Jet Cartridge, AMP Launch Pad, and two AMP Cells weighs 4.2 kg total.

Mast and Wings

The UHM mast and FLUX components to complete the AMP Small, AMP Medium, or AMP RAW system for riders that do not already have a premium foil setup.

The FLUX 707 wing is currently available, with the other foil components (UHM mast, other FLUX wings, fuselage tails, stabilisers) anticipated around October.
