At moderate recreational speeds the inconvenience of wearing full body protective clothing is not usually necessary. Instead pads are used to absorb impact at key parts of the body, especially the knees, elbows and wrists. Although head injuries due to lack of wearing a helmet can be very serious, the most common injury for many action sports is to the wrist, so wrist protection is more important than many people realise.

Our Elbow and Knee Pad Range

The Leatt Knee and Shin Guard Dual Axis is very popular with our EUC and faster electric skateboard riders, but Leatt also have a range of soft-shell knee and elbow pads, with the AirFlex popular amongst downhill mountain bikers.
